JKA is the world's largest and most prestigious karate organization. Recognized for their shotokan karate tradition. It is also the only legal karate entity officially approved by the Japanese government as an association of members (Shadan Hojin) for the promotion of karate. JKA is the preserver of the soul and spirit of the art of Kokufu-Bunka Karate-do-karate based on the ancient Japanese tradition of Bushido (the way of the samurai). Namibia is one of the proud members Affiliated with Japan Karate Association.

Shotokan Karate

Shotokan karate is one of the most traditional and widely practiced forms of karate in the world today. Shotokan puts heavy focus on kihon (basic techniques), Kata (form) and kumite (sparring) to develop a range of powerful, dynamic techniques.

The Japan Karate Association (JKA) has refined the shotokan style even further, creating a related, but unique style of its own.

All of our instructors are qualified and examined by Japan. The instructors are legal qualified instructors, judges and examiners by authorization and graded by Japan.

We do training and seminar's with head masters all around the world to learn the best skills and techniques. The head masters are all from different styles of karate, MMA and Judo and this helps us to be the best ranked at karate knowing all kinds of fighting techniques.
